- Diversity-Enhancing Judges. If you qualify as a diversity-enhancing judge and haven’t yet identified yourself as such in your anti-bias training, please email [email protected]. Additionally, if you are a diversity-enhancing judge and are willing to serve on elimination round panels, please include that in your email so we can schedule you accordingly.
- What is a diversity-enhancing judge? This term refers to individuals whose identities differ from those traditionally represented in our space. By identifying as diversity enhancing, you help us create judging panels that better reflect the diversity of our students and community.
- Please know that registering as Diversity Enhancing is completely optional. However, those who choose to opt in contribute to fostering a more inclusive tournament environment. We are incredibly grateful for your support in creating the best possible space for our student competitors and our community as a whole.
Conference Direct Housing Representative
Joline Pudoff, our Conference Direct Housing Manager, will be on-site from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024, and on call from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Saturday & Sunday, May 25-26 to help members with any issues with hotel check-in. While her desk will be in the Hilton Chicago lobby, members staying at the Palmer House are encouraged to contact her if they have any issues with hotel check-in throughout the weekend. Joline can be reached on her cell phone at 916-639-4934.

Registration Information
There are two steps included in our ”Start of Tournament” registration / check-in process.

- Diocesan/League Registration on Thursday, May 23 from Noon-6:00 PM
- Local League Directors will email [email protected] or Zoom into our Registration Office to confirm registrations or identify changes/drops for your League.
- Individual School Online Check-in on Friday, May 24 from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
- School coaches will click the “On-Site” button on Tabroom.com.
- Coaches can email [email protected] or Zoom into Registration Office with problems or questions.
- School coaches should pick up Wristbands & Lunch Tickets at this time outside Boulevard A-C in the Hilton Chicago.

Wristband Pick-up
All students, judges, observers, volunteers, and staff will need wristbands to enter competition venues on Saturday and Sunday. Wristbands are available Friday (10am - 6pm) outside Registration - Hilton Chicago, Boulevard A-C. If you arrive in Chicago after 6:00 PM on Friday or misplace your wristband, you can pull up your Tabroom account on your phone and use that to enter the buildings in place of a wristband.

- NO observers in PF, LD, or Extemp on Saturday, as they are happening in cubicles with limited space
- Observers are allowed in all other events:
- ONLY with the permission of ALL competitors & judges in the room
- Anyone can say NO without penalty or prejudice
- If you are competing you CANNOT observe any other rounds in your event
- Observers are allowed, except for any event that may be competing in a cubicle (in the early Elims)
- No permission is required
- If you are still competing you CANNOT observe rounds in your event until you are eliminated
- There may be limited seating in some rounds on Sunday. Per Chicago fire code, all observers must be seated in a chair.

Judge Reminder
Good judges make decisions only on what was presented by the contestants in the round. The judges should distance themselves from the content of the presentation. Personal values of the judges should not influence the decision.

Tournament Mass will take place in the Palmer House's Grand Ballroom on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Doors open at 8:00 PM. Mass will be held from 8:30-9:30 PM.

Posting Party
Our postings party is back! Join us in the Hilton Chicago's Grand Ballroom on Saturday night from 9:30 PM - Midnight. Postings are expected to be released around 10:30 PM BOTH at the party and online (Tabroom.com). Please know that postings are released as soon as all protests are resolved and results have been triple-checked in all events. We know you are anxious to see the results, and we are anxious for you to see them, but we have to do everything within our power to ensure they are accurate.
